ถ้าให้เปรียบเทียบ The Selection คงเป็นเหมือนออเดิร์ฟ The Elite ก็คงเป็นเหมือนอาหารจานหลัก มีความจืด ความคาว ความเผ็ด ปะปนกันไป และ The One เป็นของหวานตบท้ายเพื่อความละมุน :)

The Selection Series เป็นหนังสือประเภท Young Adult ประกอบด้วยหนังสือ 3 เล่มหลัก คือ The Selection The Elite และ The One และในปี 2015 มีการออกเล่มพิเศษมาชื่อหนังสือว่า Happily Ever After และสองเล่มสุดท้ายจะเป็นเรื่องราวในรุ่นลูกของอเมริกาใน The Heirs และ The Crown
ว่าด้วยเรื่องของหนังสือชุดนี้ เป็นเรื่องราวหลังสงครามโลกครั้ง 4 จบลง และมีการแบ่งประเทศใหม่ และประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกาได้เปลี่ยนชื่อใหม่เป็น อิลเลีย และมีการปกครองในแบบกษัตริย์ และผู้คนถูกแบ่งออกไปตามชนชั้นต่างๆ ซึ่งมีทั้งหมด 8 ชนชั้น และประเทศนี้มีธรรมเนียมว่าราชินีในอนาคตของอิลเลียมาจะต้องมาจากการคัดสรร และเรื่องราวเหล่านี้เกิดขึ้นเมื่อเจ้าชายแม็กซันอายุ 19 ปี และถึงวัยที่จำเป็นต้องหาคู่ครอง การคัดสรรนี้จึงเกิดขึ้น!
และนางเอกของเรื่องสาวน้อยวัย 16 ปี อเมริกา ซิงเกอร์ ผู้มาจากชนชั้นที่ 5 ได้ติดเป็นสาวงาม 1 ใน 35 คน ในเมื่อนางไม่เคยคิดฝันจะเป็นเจ้าหญิงเลยสักครั้ง และไม่แม้แต่ชอบพอเจ้าชายแม็กซันด้วย แล้วความรักครั้งนี้จะเป็นอย่างไรกันนะ :)

อ่านรีวิว 👉 The Selection , The Elite , The One
แรกเริ่มเลย คือ ชอบหน้าปกของหนังสือมากกกก มันดึงดูดนักอ่านแบบสุดๆ และด้วยความที่เป็นคนชอบแนวเทพนิยาย เจ้าหญิงเจ้าชาย มันเลยโดนใจมากกับหนังสือชุดนี้ และชอบตัวละครของเรื่องนี้มาก โดยเฉพาะแม็กซันกับอเมริกา (แม้นางจะร้ายเงียบ และหมั่นหน้านางเป็นบางที แต่ก็รักนางนะ 5555)
เรื่องนี้อ่านครั้งแรกคือ ภาษาอังกฤษ และเป็นครั้งแรกที่อ่านนิยายภาษาอังกฤษแบบจริงจัง อ่านง่ายมาก ศัพท์ยากก็มีบ้าง ก็เปิดดิกช่วยแปลไป จำได้ว่าช่วงนั้นพยายามบอกตัวเองอย่าอ่านเกินวันละ 3 ตอน กลัวจบไว แต่ก็นะ ทำได้ไม่ตลอดหรอก ยิ่งเล่มหลังๆนี่เรียกอ่านไม่วางเลยดีกว่า ไม่จบไม่วาง ติดงอมแงมมากกก 5555 แต่พออ่านจบก็ยังรอซื้อฉบับภาษาไทยนะ อุดหนุนนักเขียนสักหน่อย :) เรื่องนี้มีประโยคเด็ดๆเยอะมาก ก็จะเอาตัวอย่างประโยคที่ชอบสุดมาแบ่งปันละกัน :)

มาอ่านรีวิวแล้วอยากซื้อมาอ่านเลยค่ะ เจ้าของบล็อกแนะนำให้อ่านเวอร์ชั่นภาษาไทยหรือภาษาอังกฤษดีคะ สำนวนแปลไทยใช้ได้ไหม อันที่จริงอยากอ่านภาษาอังกฤษมากกว่า แต่กลัวอ่านภาษาอังกฤษไม่รอด555555555
